Ros has worked in the law in Rotorua for well over 20 years and is well known in the community, both locally and in Tauranga, where she also represents clients.  Her children went to school in Rotorua, and over the years she has been involved in a number of community theatre productions. Her husband is a retired detective sergeant, now working in transport logistics, and is keen on hunting and fishing. Together they have longstanding ties to the region 

Ros holds several qualifications, including a law degree, a Diploma in Business Studies, a Diploma in Narcissism Awareness, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

These days, Ros enjoys vegetable gardening, cooking, and travelling. She also enjoys writing legal articles for community newsletters and undertakes pro‑bono legal work from time to time.
